I feel that social responsibility is living by one's own convictions. I try to understand those who are inadequately informed about being responsible to the people of the world and being compassionate toward those less fortunate. But it's hard. I know that I'm more aware than many people around me and feel even more guilty for that same reason. Because I know where I should spend my money and where I shouldn't; how I can save energy, etc. And even though I know this I succumb to societal pressures and consume what I shouldn't and don't save when I know I should. I found this website and am creating a profile to hopefully further educate myself on the ways to be a responsible world citizen.
